Paloma Olivares
works and lives in Sète in the south of France.
She loves
the sea and particularly the magic of french Polynesia and its incredible
underwater world ; the only place on earth where the Pinctada Margaritifera
oyster gives birth to the very well known tahitian black pearl.
Thanks to family relations with a tahitian pearl producer she went to the
Tuamotu islands in August 2005 and decided to specialize in black pearl
jewelry. Her goal is to give pearls a more contemporary image by creating
pure and simple forms that reveal the uniqueness, sensuality and refinement
of black pearls.
